Hello forum.

I am in the process of changing my stock intake manifold to one from AKS.

When I got the manifold off, I saw one of the flaps in the engine head is broken in half... Not a moment to soon I decided to remove the manifold!

Is it OK to remove all the flaps from the engine head? They are easy to pull out, but they do leave a grove on both sides of the duct...
