Audi Smartphone Interface Retrofit now available through dealer
Audi Parts USA now lists the Audi Smartphone Interface Retrofit as an "orderable" part. I was able to order the document with the activation code through my local dealership. It should show up next week. My local tech quoted an hour for installation, but will likely take less. I think he'll have to do it with the scan tool.
I'll let y'all know if it works to enable CarPlay on my '17. Can't see why it wouldn't. However, if something gets bricked then it's on the dealership...
