Anyone work or do emissions testing? What's the efficiency of a catalytic converter?
Took a vehicle through emissions, I didn't expect it to pass via conventional testing as has no cat (never had one), yet I wasn't sure if any exclusions applied being a 40+ years old in addition...being a resto mod with a full swap including OBDII, yet they used the roller load test.
I have no issue adding a cat. Unfortunately information online is all over the place per results, from such low metrics a cat wouldn't cut it alone from very high claimed effectiveness which would probably probably do the ticket.
