The Audi V8 (D1) is one of those vehicles that, while innovative, is mostly forgotten in the US. The 1st car from Audi to use a V8, it was also the 1st Audi to combine quattro with an automatic transmission. The Audi V8 quattro DTM won back-to-back DTM Driver's Title with Hans-Joachim Stuck and Frank Biela in 1990 and 1991. I personally only know one person who owned an Audi V8 but I'm sure there are plenty of members who owned one or know somebody who did. This example however will make you never forget the Audi V8.
