While posting in the new Defender thread I had an idea: Nissan needs to build a new X-Terra. Off-Roaders are making a huge comeback right now with the new Defender, Bronco, Toyota TRD Off-Road package, Raptor, and other vehicles selling like hotcakes or building up waiting lists. Imagine if Nissan came out with a modern version of the original X-Terra: Rugged and stylish design, back-to-basics mantra of everything you need nothing you don't, cool off-road options, interesting colors, all for sub 4Runner prices just like it was previously (let's say ~$30K base MSRP).
