Volkswagen Radio code?
Hello everyone!
So i personally own a 2004 Passat TDI, but i come to you guys with a different car. So i work for an automotive training center and we had gotten 4 cars donated by Volkswagen corporate. One of the cars is a 2011/2012 Passat SE with a 2.5L engine. The battery ended up dead on it and now the radio is locked out. So we here at the school have no access to dealer stuff like ODIS and ELSA/ETKA so i tried reaching out to the surrounding dealers in the area for help. Not only do they want to charge a $189 """"Fee"""" for pulling the code, but they are saying i have to have the car there. I told them my situation and i was told promptly "thats not my problem, you have to bring the car here". I used to have a 2003 Jetta and i was able to get the code over the phone from the dealer but i guess things have changed since then. So i come here a littler desperate with the hope someone can help or advise me on what i can do to get around the radio issue.
The Vin of the car is 1VWBH7A32CC000942 and the serial number is VWZ1Z3L1583933
