So for the last few months, I had this P2025 Fuel Vapor Temp Sensor error, it said static but it kept coming and going periodically.
My normal go-to shop did some basic diagnostics and could not figure out anything wrong with the parts related to the error, so they told me it could be ECU issue, or the wires leading up to it.
Some time after that, my steering lock light comes on on my dash, and the error said Terminal 50 short circuit to B+.
While this was happening, I was also having occasional overboost error that put me limp mode (didn't happen every time I went high boost), I just assumed it might have been something to do with my IS38 conversion.
When the steering lock light came on, I decided to take my car into dealership since they would have more resource to diag the issue than an independent repair shop.
After couple hours, they did find the issue, and apparently this connector located under the hood release lever had some sort of short and burnt itself so it was causing errors.
I now know the issue, but I was hoping to know more about this issue itself.
What is the blue connector called? and how could it cause emission error, steering column lock error, and have impact in the turbo itself? (They specifically mentioned turbo boost issue, I did not bring it up to them).Mon, 09 Nov 2020 23:48:36 GMT
